Hello, I’m Carly, a mother of three children and a family photographer.
My experience and journey as a wife and mother have shown me two things: how fleeting the moments along the journey are and also how these fleeting moments are beautiful and have eternal weight.
This experience has informed my photography.
I believe photos that authentically capture you and yours — photos that reflect who you are, that search for the meaning and love present in your story — honor both of these aspects of the fleetingness and the weightiness of the journey. Photographs allow this fleeting moment to be concretely in your hands and on your shelf, and honor that moment’s weight by holding it still in time, to contemplate and treasure for years to come.
This is what I seek in the photos I take of my own family and what I desire to give those who entrust themselves to me here. With this perspective, I can be a sensitive witness and documenter of your story.
