I want you to come away from your family session, having actually enjoyed your time together and seeing the beauty of your family anew.

My approach to family sessions is child-led, with a balance between observing the uniqueness of your family and how that unfolds in your relating to one another, and gentle direction when needed.

In our time together, my goal is to create a space for you and yours to be yourselves and even have fun! I believe family photos are more natural, artful and beautiful when everyone is themselves, focused on each other, and enjoying the moment, rather than worrying about the photos or feeling awkward and unnatural.

This is why I focus on being child-led with families with young children, as children often do better with photos (and give us better photos) when they are having fun and not feeling like they have to perform in a strange-to-them situation. I want you to come away from your family session thinking, “That was actually fun!”
