Golden hours are always gorgeous, but I’ll never say no to a moody and cloudy evening in the mountains here in the Pacific Northwest. They somehow are more dynamic to me, a little less predictable, and full of their own magic. This family was game for the change in forecast and came fully present, ready for fun and loving on each other. This family stage with little ones is a challenge for sure, but always one of gratuitous joy and enough chaos to make things fun and sweet. And they had a great hack for navigating the chaos: bringing Nana!
